My feels exactly. If you are me had ranted like that about our employer, we would have been sacked. This is yet another example of a broadcaster abusing their position on the airwaves. |

Does anyone remember when DLT did the same thing on Radio 1 a few years ago
At least he did it having made a decision to resign but I would have thought in those days he would have been sacked if he had not resigned
It seems that today the BBC is scared to fall out with certain choosen presenters but not others
It's not a level playing field and listeners are beginning to realise this

Why was Moyles late for his show this morning? Too much booze and kebabs the night before?
What a hypocrite. He used to complain when Zoe Ball turned up late for the breakfast show! I guess it's okay for Moyles to turn up at his own pace, though? |

It's obvious Chris Moyles is one of the 'untouchables'. |

The BBC operates on a completely different plane, how else could Evans have walked into the top job at R2, after committing gross misconduct at R1 back in 1997? |

I can only hope that very soon the licence fee will be revised again and some of those 'poorly paid' individuals can reflect on the fact that we have to suffer their moans whilst paying a licence fee that is, to me anyway, a complete waste of money. The BBC have lost the plot big time, on our money! |

In my opinion the Licence Fee isn't a waste of money - not my money, anyhow - given the amount of excellent TV radio and TV programming we get at very low cost relative to what it would be if everything were accessible on a pay-per-view basis.
The recent package of programmes produced to commemorate the 70th anniversary of the Battle of Britain, which has featured across several BBC outlets, is a perfect case in point. In general the programming has been superb. It's just one of many examples.
However, what I object to is the way the Beeb's senior management teams seem hell-bent on making decisions of a kind designed to impress their industry peers rather than satisfying the needs of the viewing and listening public.
The alternative to the Licence Fee system is to completely de-regulate broadcasting, open it up to solely commercial interests - and leave it to the Murdoch Mafia to control.
I know which option I prefer. |

Interesting.
If Moyles hasn't been paid, and the BBC person explained it away as a computer mistake, I'd have to agree with Moyles it's outrageous, no matter the size of his salary. If that's the case, and it's been two months, that's more than 60 days that have elapsed with no rectifying of a problem that would only take a few strokes of a keyboard. I'd be fed up also.
Whether an on-air rant was necessary is debatable as the listening public are tuned in for light entertainment not for the woes of the presenter to take over proceedings. However, and conversely, if Moyles is trying to highlight the BBC for misrepresenting his interests and career and in turn the licence fee money used to pay his salary, then I suppose you could say it's in the public interest.
Tough one. |

From his rant, he seems to think not - singling out Wogan and Evans as the special ones. |

What an idiot Moyles is!! He gets an exorbitant salary yet is so stupid that he can't manage to budget his money so he is short of cash as soon as his wages are not paid for a couple of months. So he throws an on air tantrum. What a fool
I think he is just unhappy because forst Wogan & now Evans consistently get far better ratings than him |

They should sack Moyles now.
DLT had a bit more reason for his rant (I did not hear it). But it was about that Mathew Staircase and he said, according to Bob harriss "Up with this I will not put" which is an interesting gramatical excursion |

Aww I've gorn right off you Santa Fe - I thought you was a man with taste. Kate Bush fair dos but that picture of Carol Vorderman - talk about mutton, with the fake whotnots shoved up over the dress a la Jordan and the two ton of slap laid on with a trowel??
She's a nice looking woman but at 50 it's all gone a bit desperate hasn't it?
Chris Moyles at 36 looks as rough as a badger's arse. Think he's having some kind of emotional mid life melt down (he might be 36 but looking at him genes wise he's 46 at least) - he's got shot of the girlfriend, he'll be getting a Harley Davidson next. |

Kettle, I thought of Goodness Gracious Me's parody of 'Unforgettable' (and the 'Everything Comes From India' man) when you said Moyles was one of the untouchables at R1!
Sanjeev Bhaskar was stood in a crowded market, being ignored by people, singing 'Untouchable - that's what I am!'
That would have been a turn-up for Who Do You Think You are - saying Moyles was of lower-caste Asian ancestry! _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!

I heard Mathew Staircase, the fool who killed off BBC Radio London & Radio One, on the radio talking about outbursts on radio. And he was defending chris Moyles outburst.
Chris Evans used to call him the fat controller. |
and he said, according to Bob harriss "Up with this I will not put" which is an interesting gramatical excursion
Shows his grounding in Latin which always puts the verb at the end of a sentence (sorry, just showing off - I did Latin A-Level about 95 years ago). Also German, I think, puts the verb at the end (Remember Dennis the Dachshund? - oops - really showing my age now).
Sorry Clive, I can't quote properly. |

Moyles is just flummoxed: he can’t understand why no one likes him. Fortunately, I don’t suffer from the same problem, I do know why no one likes him. He’s an overly rude, arrogant, useless fat git, and he should shave too, he always looks scruffy. |
