This should maybe be in a different section but it’s both a gripe and a well-done, Jonny, in one.

Thank you Jonny Saunders! After a week of sports news and main news reports about the stricken LFC,( That’s the Liverpool Football Club apparently) I’ve been wondering who the hell the owner of the Boston Red Socks could be? Finally, someone at the BBC has Googled (other search engine are available) it this morning, so now we know! Hallelujah!! I couldn’t sleep! I think they just like saying “the owner of the Boston Red Socks” over and over again. An American businessman would have done or just plain old John W Henry- he owns the Boston Red Socks- don’t you know, and just in case you didn’t know this, the Boston Red Socks are a Baseball Team. And just once more for love, Boston Red Socks OMG! I’ve just thought, what if it’s Boston Red Sox not Boston Red Socks. Oh well it sounds the same either way- try it, Boston Red Sox, then Boston Red Socks, see it sounds the same. Good old Boston Red So(x)(cks) different spelling same sound. Cool beans!
I understand now why Elvis used to shoot his TVs.

Of course, there's another burning question. Who is Jonny Saunders?

Jonny "Finbarr" Saunders ( as we call him) is the sports guy on a popular Radio 2 Show.

I'm afraid that still doesn't ring any bells.

I'm thinking Johnny Saunders is a stooge to He Who Must Not Be Slated.

Finbarr Saunders, on the other hand, was a character in Viz Comic who imagined double entendres in anything said to him.

Every report I've heard on this has mentioned John Henry by name - are you saying Jonny didn't?

If it's the loop I'm thinking of, I'm more than happy to be out of it. Honest! Laughing Laughing Laughing

Today they have started to mention John Henry by name but up until today I've not heard the name John Henry on any news report on any channel at any time. Just the Owner of the Boston Red Socks.

To be honest, you should pay more attention! Even ITN have mentioned him by name, with captions and everything.

A few clues Colin, he has to..

Wear an "I love Chris" badge and T shirt,
Be prepared to laugh at absolutely anything Chris says,
Be prepared to be talked over,
Be prepared to be humiliated,
Make out he knows nothing about the real world so Chris can explain then he says "Oh",
Get genned up on completely pointless trivia...

Homework.. think of more completely pointless text subjects for the following morning..

Sorry. It still doesn't mean anything to me. From your clues, it sounds like he might play some kind of sycophantic role on the radio - for a primadonna, perhaps?

Am I getting warmer?
