I felt the heart had gone out of the band when he left - leaving Kelly Jones to sound like a creaking door on the maudlin 'Handbags & Gladrags' (surely Radio Aire and Virgin as was's most played song) and other sad ballads.

I'm really sorry that Cable died, because I thought he'd landed on his feet hosting a TV programme for BBC Wales and a rock show for Kerrang.

I liked Stuart Cable and keep checking news online to see if there have been any autopsy results/cause of death given.

At the time they were saying toxicology results would take up to 6 weeks -

but there's been nothing? I know it was most likely booze or drugs or both ... but did he have an underlying heart condition or anything else? Weird there's been no update - well not that I've seen anyway.
