This was a film that we recorded on the DVD when it was on during the summer. We watched it last night and true to form.... the recording stopped just before the end. Did anyone see it when it was first shown, and can you tell me what happened after the fire at her home when Jane Horrocks was walking towards the sea?

I think we have the DVD somewhere, I'd need to try and find it (don't hold your breath)

I'd be grateful if you do find anything Nod.

This DVD player really gets up my nose (Samsung). Obviously something went wrong with the timings on Little Voice, (maybe it came on late) but we do usually leave a margin at the end for that.

But Saturday night we set up to record TV Burp/You've Been Framed whilst we watched Strictly and later on when we went back to it..... zilch! It's a while since we used this DVD player, but we finally worked out that after we've set it to record we have to remember to switch it off!

Why is that? That didn't use to be an issue way back with the VHS recorders, as I recall. Evil or Very Mad

The film ended with LV getting together with Ewan McGregor's character and the pigeons.

I do also remember LV shouting back at Mairi 'My name's not LV - it's Laura!'

Michael Caine as Ray Say doing 'It's Over' in response to Mr. Boo has to be a luvvie equivalent of Sid Vicious's 'My Way' in The Great Rock N' Roll Swindle!
