Bit of a nail biting end to last night's match but we got the win... Very Happy someone said we have more points now than Derby had at the end of their Premiership season when they went down....

Yes Becky but Derby went down with the lowest number of points ever as I recall
I wouldn't worry though because if Blackpool keep on playing as they do now they will definitely be there next season
I don't know whether my team will be but at least we scraped maximum points at Bolton on Saturday even though by all accounts it was a bit lucky
Still I guess if you're at the bottom winning is what really matters

I have nothing against Blackpool, they play good entertaining football and it's nice to see a team with English names, rather than stuffed with overseas cheats like Nani of Man Utd.
However, they were pretty dreadful last night--remember they were playing against only nine men for most of the match.

Certain candidates for relegation, in last place.

True, but the score sheet will only reflect a win and they won't be the first team to have not played too well (no matter how many are in the opposite team) and won..... Smile

Yes Becky another good performance against quite a decent team
I love Ian Holloway's approach to football
His teams always go out to entertain and score goals whoever they are playing
Its like football used to be in the old days and long may it continue

We're getting a sense of that now in the FA Cup match between Southport and Sheffield Wednesday... Very Happy

I used to watch Southport quite regularly when I was about 8 years old so it really is football like in the old days for me
I really hope Southport can come back yet again but its not looking good
What a great blood and guts cup tie though
Damn Sheffield W have just scored a fifth
Oh Well

keep picking up those points and you'll do ok.
Compared with the three W's at the bottom you are at least playing well.
West Ham were awful again, Wigan not much better, Wolves unlucky (clocks work differently at old Trafford)

Yes! Sir Alex has his own little time zone at Old Trafford, it would seem.... Wink

Yes tell me about it, Sheffield Utd are only heading in one direction, I doubt if you get relegated you will be playing us next year

Blackpool might get relegated and they still will not be playing Sheffield United next season.

Have a close friend who is a Blades fan-he is in bits/really upset at their current situation.

No a poor season although they did play better at the end, I just hope the wages can be reined in without losing everyone.

Wow Becky a real nail biter next weekend you could still do it
