Does anyone share my love of all things animated and Japanese?
Studio Ghibli has been a beacon in animated film industry for years and Manga before that.
Today I have heard that Holywood are remaking one of my favorite all time films Akira and casting bloody Zac Efron as lead. I've never seen a film with him in so far as he doesn't make the kind of films I'm likely to see, is it a good move for him to show his acting skills or a studio trying for box office money rather than quality of film?
Akira remake
key films in this genre are Akira, Fist of the North Star, Blood, castle in the sky, spirited away all great films,

If you liked Spirited Away try Howls moving Castle if you are feeling a bit more adventurous try Akira a real cyber punk type story with some super powers to mix it up

Oh alright then, if you say so...  I'll keep an eye open for those you have mentioned...Jonathan Ross is a big fan,I think. |
