POP baldies Right Said Fred face a hair-raising time in the jungle – on telly’s I’m A Celebrity.
Brothers Richard, 54, and Fred Fairbrass – who shot to fame with their 1991 smash-hit I’m Too Sexy – head the lineup for this year’s show.
The Sun today reveals the full list of stars taking part in what promises to be the bitchiest series yet.
Catty US model Janice Dickinson, 52, and Prince Andrew’s ex Koo Stark, 51, will be joined by Apprentice bitch Katie Hopkins, 31 – caught romping in a field with her married lover – and ex-Hollyoaks babe Gemma Atkinson, 23.
Contestants also include panto dame Christopher Biggins, 58, ex-EastEnder Marc Bannerman, 34, Changing Rooms star Anna Ryder Richardson, 43, 5ive hunk Jason ‘J’ Brown, 31, and Sex Pistols guru Malcolm McLaren, 61.
Ex-England footballer Rodney Marsh, 63, Welsh pop singer Cerys Matthews, 36, Michelin-starred chef John Burton Race, 50, and PR guru Lynne Franks, 59, will complete the lineup – unless telly chiefs can persuade Ingrid Tarrant to take part.
Telly favourites Ant and Dec will once again host the ITV show.
The celebs began arriving in Australia last night as torrential rain threatened to turn their camp into a SWAMP.
Last year’s winner Matt Willis – back to present ITV2’s coverage – said: “The camp has been absolutely soaked. I don’t envy this year’s contestants – I hope they they’ve brought their waterproofs.”
The show starts on Monday night.

I'll give it a miss if you don't mind, Mark. There's some paint-drying and grass-growing I need to watch at that time. I prefer excitement, as you can tell. |

Not knowing who Gemma Atkinson is, I looked her up
http://www.gemmaatkinson.tv/
1. Is the sub-title of the show to be Beauty and the Beasts?
2. What on earth has she done to deserve being lumped with that lot? _________________ Ron |

Oh yes, the prospect of Gemma bouncing around is the only appealing thing about the show. Mylene Klass hasn't done too badly out of her appearance last year!
As for the rest - what an odd bunch of has-beens. |

Who cares about this annual bore-fest? It's almost as bad as Big Brother! |

I could not believe Calendar advertising Mel B's upcoming appearance on this.
They were hyping it up as if she'd released an album of material that was absolutely fantastic, and all it is, really, is that a local celebrity's reduced to going on this tackfest. _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!

What it demonstrates is that this kind of junk TV is designed prompt a media feeding frenzy. It's one big food chain. That's why X-Factory judges pick weirdos for their line-up or why rank outsiders like Ann Widdecombe are selected for Strictly. They know they'll get press coverage.
And that's why Evans is doing breakfast on R2. He'll get lots of cross-media press coverage if their PR office get it right.
We're all pawns in the media game and that's why this whole "celebrity" obsession is what it is. They all live off each other. |

It's all a bit depressing, really. How ITV continues to get such high audience figures for such formulaic dross is beyond me. |
