He had some good choices on here - Timer (Laura Nyro), Happenings Ten Years' Time Ago (Yardbirds), Been Caught Stealing (Jane's Addiction)!

Pity the amount of time allotted didn't allow each to be played in full.

Yes I think more time should be given to the programme
I realise that Radio 4 is not really a music station but it seems strange that when guests are picking relatively unheard tracks they have to be cut short when their choices seldom get played on the so called music stations
Surely the network could spare an extra 15 minutes to do the job properly

In the old days the music was purely incidental to the conversation of the castaway with Roy Plomley, and you frequently only heard short extracts (longer pieces of classical music were picked more often then).
