Was listening to Tony Livesey the other night and he had a little section where a mythical on- line bookseller may have got his book titles mixed up with grocery/drink items ......it started off, I think, with Language, Truth and Logic (never heard of it ) which became Lasagne Trout and Logic.......

Some other suggestions sent in from listeners

Hobson's Choice ....Hobnobson's Choice
A Midsummers Night Dream ....A Midsummer's Night Cream
The Importance of Being Ernest.....The Importance of Baked Bean Ernest
Winnie the Pooh......Winnie the Stew
Angela's Ashes....Angela's Corn Beef Ashes

And topically ... To Kill a Mockingbird becomes Tequilla Mockingbird

Smile

I would have suggested Pies and Prejudice but Stuart Maconie beat me to it with the real thing

Anyone think of any more??

I knew a guy who used to constantly confuse two different expressions and when he came across something really irritating he would say

'You Know, that really gets up my goat Very Happy
