What on earth has happened to what used to be my favourite police TV series? Last night we settled down to watch the first of a two-parter. It was so violent and so weird that after 20 minutes we switched over to something else.
What do others think?

Unfortunately I didn't see last night's but have noted the trend towards darker and more downbeat stories recently, (possibly to act as an antidote to New Tricks )
I do think the earlier ones were much better _________________ Ron |

I agree with both of you, I used to enjoy this series but not anymore, I hope new tricks dosen't go the same way. |

We had a power cut last night so not sure if it recorded. If it's as bad as you all say I may not bother to watch, I've got loads to catch up on anyway.
Last week's was not too bad but the one that was on a couple of months ago I thought was really weird. If it had been all in one go I don't think I'd have lasted to the end. Is this why they are showing them in 1 hr parts?

H, Don't bother.
D&P is fast becoming far too dark and surreal. We will probably watch House from C5 last night. _________________ Geddon
