Tell me I'm not imagining things.

This single, which is on the Radio 2 playlist and is extremely catchy, has writer credits to Sandi Thom and her band, and she certainly credits it as her own.

However, I'm sure I recall a very, VERY similar song by country star Wade Hayes being shown frequently on CMT, when it was available on UK television seven or eight years ago.

Search of the usual places, and his own site, on the internet has drawn a blank, so I suppose I must be wrong, but does anyone else have the same feeling?

I don't mind the song but I think the line "there's only one Saturday night in every week" is quite ironic considering how often it gets played!

As for a similar song... sorry, I can't remember.
