Yesterday's Weakest Link was awful--total prize money was only about £880.

Sample Question: In 1940 France was occupied by troops from which country?

Contestant's Answer (diffidently, after a long pause): England.

What a wonderful rewrite of history!

Missed it yesterday, but there are usually one or two gems.

I've seen a show with the winning total £880 before - the lowest is apparently £750 and the highest £5,420. There's a light-hearted webpage, far more informative than the BBC one, here http://www.ukgameshows.com/page/index.php?title=The_Weakest_Link
