He's very good at making half-decent film where there is literally a good half and a terrible half eg Bad Boys (good action, terrible comedy), I Am Legend (day: good, night: bad) but his recent output has been pretty awful. |

I just can't enjoy the films he's in, it's his face.
I think watching his Fresh Prince TV series years ago, where he was always larking about and not being serious (but with little scenes trying to be serious) putting on a stupid face, ruined his chances of me ever taking him seriously, and has possibly ruined his chances of being taken seriously as an actor by Hollywood i.e. like Cruise, he'll never win an Oscar (he's had 2 noms). |
