* Speaking of Cheryl Cole, the woman has just climbed Mount Kilimanjaro, helping to raise £1.5 million for Comic Relief in the process. She has braved altitude sickness, blisters and the news that her cretinous husband was arrested for being drunk and disorderly while she was up a mountain. But still she soldiered on. With her were "stars" including the Radio 1 DJ Chris Moyles and Take That singer Gary Barlow. The latter thought they all deserved a treat after their 10-day trek, so what did he do? He spent £50,000 on a private jet to fly them back to Britain. Imagine all the food and clean water the poor impoverished children of Africa could get with that. Oh, well – at least the stars didn't have to slum it in first class on a commercial plane. http://www.telegraph.co.uk/comment/columnists/bryonygordon/4974987/And-on-the-fifth-day-our-Lord-created-the-spin-cycle.html
You couldn't make it up, could you? _________________ Ron |
