We're escaping to the north Norfolk coast this week until Friday and - who knows - we might even have some decent weather! I'll be taking lots of pics and the best will be blown up large and printed to canvas and take pride of place on our new kitchen wall (the kitchen's new, not the wall - by the way!).
I might even have to sample a few pubs whilst we're there, too. Somebody has to keep them going, after all, so it's down to me I guess. |

I'd lend a hand if only I was going there with you! Isn't Southwold in that part of East Anglia? Adnams is a nice tasty ale that's brewed there. _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

Lee, Southwold is in North Suffolk ( or south of Norfolk.. )
Quite a nice place really, with a nice pier.
Never been much of a fan of North Norfolk but only because it seemed that every time we went that way as a kid, it was grey and cold!
I have an Aunt living in High Kelling near Holt which is pleasant enough. particularly Holt High Street which often see's celebs shopping there apparently...
If you're in Cromer Colin, I believe "Mary Janes" has a good reputation for Fish & Chips.. at least when I went there it was fabulous. _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

Interestingly we were in Southwold a few weeks ago and enjoyed it thoroughly. The Adnams beer was great, too! Anyhow, we're still here - not far from Hunstanton on the only bit of the east coast that faces west - and it's a been a really hot week. Home tomorrow, alas! |
