We don't have a newspaper, and I'm listening to less and less Radio 2, so it was news to me!

I was more depressed than shocked.. but depression turned to anger as I heard on the Radio 2 news this afternoon that they had to extend Chris Evans' show as he's soooooooooo popular!
Makes me sick.. in fact I'm moved to make a formal complaint to the BBC to put 'em right.

I was pretty angry, I have to say. I've now got into the habit of switching off R2 just after the 7.00am news and now I have to rethink this whole routine again!
I give up......  |

I've just been catching up with the other thread (which for some reason evaded me when I logged in, or I would not have started a new one).
I know that people on the R2MB said that those unappreciative of Evans were a 'tiny minority', but I've yet to actually meet someone who thinks he's doing a great job. The only people I've come across who seem to hold that opinion were on the R2 board!
Several people held up Rajar figures as 'proof', but given how they are calculated, I'm sceptical.
I don't get it at all. |
