MP's are calling for a ban on certain cereals which contain salt.

I've usually got a lot of time for Andy Burnham as he seems quite a sensible and decent guy but he's taken leave of his senses here.
We've quite enough nannying as it is in this country, why can't they just leave people alone. |

My thoughts exactly Toggy! They just want to blame everything on the state and it's about time people did things for themselves. A lot of food is tasteless enough without them taking anything else out!

Salt in Frosties?!? Oh, so that's why Frosties taste so nice! I thought it was all that sugar coating!
But c'mon Mark, where in that article is the salt content of Frosties mentioned?
And you say MPs calling for a ban when Burnham is quoted in the article saying 'I'm not talking about banning anything.....'
Mark. Sounds like you are preparing a report for the Daily Mail..... _________________ -

Actually there could well be too much salt in Frosties John!
A few years back, probably when they first asked manufacturers to cut back, I noticed Sainsburys Bran Flakes which I'd bought for a long time began to taste like cardboard (don't tell me that they do anyway!) and stopped buying them, I found they had less salt than other own brands and Kelloggs. Took a while to find a better one, Tesco's, and the amount of sugar varies as well. Kelloggs are the sweetest by far, too sweet in fact.
