Fascinating discussion on people, especially men, suffering from cancer symptoms but not going to their GPs early enough. Some brickbats, too, for some of the medics involved.

I had a significant cancer scare three years ago and have to say that every professional involved in my care scored 100%. I reserve special praise for my GP, who managed the whole process with a combination of efficiency and concern and behaved towards me in a thoroughly caring way throughout.
