I don't listen to Ken all that often but like his Tracks of my Years feature so recently I've been trawling through the archives picking and choosing artists I like, to listen to ....

Art Garfunkel ...enjoyed hearing him say he was 'tipping his toupee' to Ringo before playing the very lovely Here,There,Everywhere.

Paul Jones....The story he told about Brenda from The Exciters shows how how fickle the entertainment industry can be!

http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p0113v33

Benny Andersson ... he said of Little Richard records, if you took the voice out there was nothing left Very Happy It's Little Richard's 80th birthday on the 5th of December ...Radio 2 have a programme in the evening at 10 celebrating it

I enjoyed hearing all of them talking as well as (mostly) enjoying their choice of songs

( All chose a Beatles's song)

Next choice could be Justin (Mr Tumble) Fletcher although I might just save that one for when my little grand-daughter next visits

Wow!! I didn't know these archives existed. I'll be spending many happy hours listening to those. Thanks, Becky.

Thanks for these Becky. Very Happy

I think I heard Ken mention them once (ages ago) and took a look meaning to go back but then forgot. I've not looked for them lately but there doesn't seem to be half as much on the new fangled webpage now. Sad

You're welcome, raver and Helen ...there are a fair few to have a listen to there.

The old adage of "if it ain't broke don't fix it" comes to mind with the new websites Rolling Eyes

Woo! Thanks to the archives you can listen to Tyler James from last week. Hear about that time he was on The Voice, his memories of being on The Voice, and how he felt when he failed to win The Voice. Thrilling stuff.

I heard some of Mr James' choices, when he was on earlier in the month. I had no idea who he was, but wondered why they picked him, once his tracks were revealed. Terrible.

If anybody actually looked for his choices on the website, then I would venture to suggest that they should be certified insane.

Only from a couple of weeks ago but in the archives....

Enjoyed hearing Rick Parfitt's tracks and what he had to say ..sounds a nice bloke...no airs and graces

His choice of Susan Boyle's I Dreamed A Dream was a surprise ...but a nice one...everything he said about it was spot on. Smile
