A note to remind you all that Episode 1 of Series 2 of "The Bletchley Circle" airs tonight on ITV1 at 9.00pm.
Unlike the first series, a lot of scenes were actually shot at Bletchley Park - some of them in the actual huts and buildings used during secret code breaking activities during WW2 - many of which have been boarded up and untouched since the end of the war but which are at last being restored and opened to the public thanks to a £11 million grant from the Heritage Lottery. The production team was at work on several occasions that I visited BP during the Autumn of last year and it's been very busy at the site. |
