The Generation Game which was first presented by Bruce Forsyth then Larry Grayson which saw contestants making clay pots etc..could be making a comeback with Comedian Miranda Hart. The BBC are still in early talks, but not ruling out the conveyor belt has stopped, but in the meantime the controller of BBC1 is hoping she'll get her cuddly toy.

Can't stand the woman and I think it's a great mistake on the part of the BBC to devalue what most people see as a classic show by bringing it back with such a mediocre person

Some things are best left alone as happy memories Sad

I can't stand her either, she's totally unfunny.

I think Jonathan Ross should present the show!

I've always liked "Miranda" (her show) on TV and I think it's very funny. A bit mad and off the wall - something I like. Although I would never want to watch a show I last watched in the mid-1970s I think Miranda Hart is quite an inspired choice as host - assuming she's been contracted. She's putting out noises to the effect that she isn't interested (which probably means she is).

They need to be careful with this.
The best Gen-Games were based on hosts being spontaneously funny interacting with members of public.
I haven't seen Miranda do anything like that.
