I know nothing about my laptop but for some reason it has now gone wireless on me.I have tried calling bt but no luck.I have been offline for three weeks now

Not sure what you mean Little pieces. Do you use it with a wired up connection normally? It could be that the Network has been lost from your router. My Dad had that problem recently but I can't recall exactly what it was. He called his computer guy and he came and it took him about 2 minutes to put it right.
Is it W7?
I'm not very good at describing things but I'll try if you'll bear with me. On the bottom right of your task bar is there a symbol with a square and what looks like a plug end? Hover your mouse over it, mine says NetGear (that's my router) internet access yours could say BT. Left click and it should show you how you are connected both wirelessly and wired up. If you right click it will give you help on what to do.
Sorry if this isn't what the problem is.
Have you tried a local computer repair company for suggestions?
