Tonight's match
Wales 16 - England 21
A highly competitive and thoroughly enjoyable match...all the more enjoyable because we (England) won!
It looked all over at half time the way Wales were playing but credit to England they came storming back in the second half.
I hardly dared watch the last penalty.
Great win for England!

Yes and much deserved, I thought Haskell was outstanding, and this was with two rookie 2nd row and centres.
Whether they'll be able to challenge the power houses of the all Blacks and the 'Boks in the autumn is another thing but things are certainly looking up. _________________ The wheel keeps on turning...

Best match I've watched for quite a while.
Partly because I don't think anyone actually played badly.
Partly because we didn't know until the last few seconds who was going to win!
(They will need to address the silliness regarding Wales not taking the field at the start, though). |

Yes, the delay at the start was a bit unnecessary, but what annoyed me even more was the interminable light show and loud music just before kick off which seemed to last forever.
I wanted the game to start, not go to a bloody disco. |

Ireland 19 England 9
Well, what an almighty disappointment that was, but well done to Ireland...a deserved win.
And another well done to Italy for their gutsy win over Scotland at Murrayfield yesterday. |

I think England's inexperienced 2nd row were found a bit wanting yesterday by the more savvy Irishmen, the normally secure lineout was under pressure quite a bit.
I also thought England looked a lot better when they kept ball in hand instead of trying to take Ireland on at the kicking game which is one of Irelands strengths.
I hope Sexton will be ok for the Wales game so the Irish can turn them over too _________________ The wheel keeps on turning...
