Yet another so called "celebrity" to entertain us. When will the R2 management learn?!!!!!!!???
I listened this morning and judging from her performance even Zoe would be preferable(just) |

This new direction for Radio 2 is not about trying to get the next Lynn Parsons or Richard Allinsons of the real DJ world to the station. They are just a well known voice to entertain us. Apparently she started out in Radio. Time will tell. |

I don't know what the hell was going on today. Never heard the pips as she unplugged her headphones. Didn't realise at 06.15 there was Pause For Thought, and was waiting for the music, and many other mistakes which isn't the first time. I thought it might have been ironed out by now.
I don't know if she's got a script in front of her or who's running the desk? It seems to not be produced very well or she's not got a clue.. |

I did comment on her failing to recognise the difference between two well known late 60's tracks on another thread
The problem is with Bob Shennan that presenters can be completely useless but as long as their face fits - he doesn't see it as a problem _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

I can't see she comes in on a Saturday morning and thrown into the lions den. There must be some sort of prep during the week with meetings? It's seems a little dysfunctional. |

I realise that John - it's not to be taken literally - it's a figure of speech as I'm sure you well know
I think you get my drift though _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

I switched off completely since Zoe left. Appalling Radio. |

All I can say is that Shennan must be negotiating some very good deals with the agents who represent these once-popular (but now C-list) TV presenters. |

I switch on and there she is talking and reading from a script. Very boring radio for first thing on a Saturday. 5 minutes and not even that then switch over. |
