Thanks to all of you who have signed up so far.
What are your overall first impressions of this Message Board? Were there any sections you would have liked to have seen that we have missed out?

Hi John,
This looks like it could be a "home from home". I love the design and the suggested topics including the "fantasy schedules" seperate area. In case you are wondering who I am, I've changed my log in name to my real name from my previous name on the R2 boards - just seemed like a good time to do so. I'll let you guess for a little while who I was in a previous life

Hi gfloyd,
It's confusing... the ADMIN poster is not me but the person who created this place
I agree that this really has the makings of the new R2mb, I reckon we can spread the news very soon if we get a few topics going
Where's the <ok> emoticon ??
Cheers, _________________ -

Hopefully, this place will take off. I know we don't all get along but it would be a shame for the old crowd to disappear! |

Like the style and format - my only gripe (and it's not really that important) is the size of the file available for an avatar - 6KB is miniscule - 100KB would be better but I can understand if it causes problems.

Well, I've only been here a day but what I've seen so far I think is excellent. Obviously there are certain places I won't go as I have nothing to contribute but the ones I do venture into seem great.
I do hope the high standard of this board is kept up - it would be such a pity to see WUM's and Trolls slipping in and spoiling it for others who want adult input and a degree of seriousness where appropriate in the conversations. I remember only too well the stupid comments made by some posters from the football boards trying to wreck threads!! _________________ Friends may come and friends may go, but enemies tend to accumulate. |

I congratulate the the people who set up this Forum.
I enjoy reading peoples contributions. I myself however am a bit of a joker so if I am not welcome... I'll get me coat. |

Hey Tom, nowt wrong with a little harmless humour. Feel free to be as funny as you like.
Although, step over the mark and become vile, abuse or repetitve and I will be forced to get my axe out. |

We await the joker antics with trepidation, hoping joker means 'fun'

I had only just found the Radio 2 messageboards a few days before they closed down and followed the link to this site. It looks a bit confusing with so many things going on, but If it's ok with you guys.....I'll try and tag along and join in from time to time.
Thank you

Took to it like a duck to water, once I got through immigration
I like this style of board. I read the R2 boards frequently, but never joined as it seemed very intimidating. I like the phpBB boards. _________________ ~*Rachel*~

This is far easier to use than the R2 boards. And I like the disappearance of the 10pm closedown-- no more pumpkin!
Look forward to reading and contributing much more.

You seem to have no problems attacking presenters you dont like in pretty strong terms yourself eg. Ken Bruce, Steve Wright and the Sunday presenters (and thats just from reading your postings over the last couple of days), so please tell me how calling your idol "mediocre" equates to what you said about the above listed presenters? _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |
