I was so sad when I heard this Nod. I've listened to him since he did the 9am- 10am slot on Radio 1 on my way to my first job. _________________ 88 - 91 FM this is Radio 2 from the BBC!

I missed his show yesterday but I will catch it up on Sounds. I am very sad.
I have listened to JW for decades starting from his days on the pirates, radio will be a lot poorer without him.
The one blessing is Bob Harris taking the Sunday slot over. At least he knows music unlike most of the presenters on Radio 2. _________________ Pirate Johnnie Walker played my request on 11 April 2009 |

Listened last Sunday and it was very sad. Lovely that Sally Traffic was on remembering their laughs and good times on Drivetime.
He's been my must listen to for over 50 years.......
