It's an outrageous waste of BBC funds to report so widely on a pointless study about tea..... I can't believe this nonsense made the news headlines ......
16 people, a dead rat and a few pots of tea .......... ....
I think it's time to build Ark B... |

Obviously a slow news day or people have got fed up of
Deaths in Iraq
Ex -education ministers who are members of secretive Roman Catholic societies.
Marks and Sparks making more money than last year. _________________ Geddon

Pointless for sure.
My missus has drunk black tea for over 40 years.
She's had high blood pressure for 10 years |

I think it tastes better, but then I'm used to it, having drank it that way for over 15 years now - not as long as Mrs. W, though.... _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

Next week someone will tell us that milk in tea's good for you.
And a sample of 16 hardly adds up to anything of statistical significance.

Black tea definately. Reason being that you never have to wash your mug!
Anyway, people that no more than me are always harping on about what will end us, but I'm pretty sure it's going to be lack of breath that does it for me. |

Me too Jen. Our parents and grandparents ate and drank what they wanted and how they liked and it didn't seem to do them any harm. We're all only one heartbeat away from death anyway .... so why worry! _________________ Friends may come and friends may go, but enemies tend to accumulate. |

I don't think anyone (even Pillinger and his mob) really know what happened to Beagle - I once attended a lecture given by one of his senior staff, the last positive report of B2 was shortly after separation from Mars Express five days prior to entry into Mars orbit. Faulty heatshield, duff parachutes (they had problems with them during testing), failure of the airbags or failure to collapse properly: loads of things to go wrong. There were so many compromises to get the weight down enough so that it would fit together with Mars Express in the Soyuz-Fregat launcher payload space that there's a possibility that several corners were cut....
Mars missions seem to be cursed with mechanical failure, software malfs and plain human error (let's use Imperial instead of Metric for a laugh, shall we?!).... although the two MERs are going great guns at the moment.
Incidentally, my name is on a CD affixed to New Horizons which will be passing Jupiter next month on its way to Pluto and the Kuiper Belt.... _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

I've never heard of Lady Grey - is she related to Earl Grey? I love that tea and could drink it by the gallon. _________________ Friends may come and friends may go, but enemies tend to accumulate. |

Lady Grey is a citrus version of Earl Grey, can't get it where I live, so on my trips to London, I always make sure that I stock up.

Not too much though Nat... makes you hyper......or something.
I noticed this a few weeks back and said I would try to cut it out and stick with.....tea...
But, my wife bought me some Decaff coffee and it tastes great, not as I remember it several years ago which wasn't so nice, maybe they've improved it.
Off for my first cup of the day... |

They have probably found a way to remove more of the dichloromethane residues.

I take mine (teeth) out before I drink coffee! Ha Ha only joking.
I only drink one cup a day when I'm at work & don't like tea. But as I'm on leave at the moment I haven't had any since Thursday. A little of what you fancy does you good, my mum always said! _________________ I like cats and music |

I think Turkish coffee was the only one I've ever had that left a permanent stain on the inside of the cup. No wonder it's only served in very small cups.... _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

But usually in the morning - elevenses! If we go out and order coffee we expect a biscuit to accompany it ...!!
