One of long-time members can't log in and has tried to renew his password but seemingly the system is not sending him a new password.
Anyone else had problems when their log-in fails? |

It could be that the SMTP server isn't sending properly. Unless you've made changes in the ACP it might be worth checking with the host admin.
You can check it my doing a sample send straight out of the ACP to one or more users. _________________ (signature and avatar removed, violated forum Rule 2.) |

Ah, turns out our absent member was/is having e-mail problems too, I can probably help out by putting an alternatve e-mail address in his profile. |

The email isn't hitting his/her spam folder is it? That's often the cause. Of course, you can over-ride the problem by changing the email address in the user profile. _________________ (signature and avatar removed, violated forum Rule 2.) |
