Channel 4 are showing a group of 10 people who have to live on the contents of a rubbish tip for 3 weeks.
It's called DUMPED
It will not be broadcast live but contestants are free to leave anytime.

Sounds like a great idea to me. Are they allowing senior Channel 4 Commissioning Editors and Programme Executives to appear in the show as well? The lifestyle - however shortlived - will certainly make a change from the trendy Soho wine bars and brasseries they're used to hanging out in!

this isn't silly
there are people who eat out of bins as it were to save the environment etc
you'd be surprised how much people waste: businesses, restaurants etc
It isn't like they'll just start eating some leftovers of a bit of grated carrot - more that they'll eat stuff that is in boxes or things that haven't even been opened - eg tins, etc
as I say, you'd be surprised about how much is wasted - I read an article about this some time ago and I'm sure saw something about it on the news |
