They'll have to do an airdrop from Ascension, then - there's no useable airfield on TdC yet, due to arguments over its construction, and the last ship to visit before the New Year left at the beginning of the month. _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

I do believe this is what is planned and what I was referring to as the logistical nightmare, particularly at this time of the year and with all the other global commitments the armed forces have.
