I seem to be having reception problems with UKTV Gold on Sky. Every so often, the channel freeze frames and the sound goes out of sync. Is anyone else experiencing similar problems? |

I get that with a lot of the channels on digital - I have ntl. Also I listen to Planet Rock and the sound will go off for minutes at a time. Very annoying isn't it? _________________ I like cats and music |

We have these problems, the usual causes:
Weather
next door's clematis smothering the dish!
Sometimes tho if you unplug and plug in after 1 min...it clears itself...! |

Weather, aircraft and cars driving past, apparently. Once the signals are pumped up to something approaching full strength in a few years time, these problems should be history.... _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”

Hey all,
Thanks for your responses. I post an another forum and raised this matter there. It appears that a lot of Sky Digital customers are receiving reception problems with most of the UKTV channels.
One would imagine that UKTV are aware of the problem, but I have e-mailed them. I've yet to receive a response... |

Should I be able to see UKTV Gold with a Freeview box? It is listed with the other channels but the screen stays blank when I select it! Or is it just that I'm in a crap area? |

It's a 'Top Up TV' channel on my box, but I'm not paying for a subscription. _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”
