More than 20,000 extra troops are going to Iraq to try a last ditch to swamp the country, and hand it over to the Iraq Government. This is another one of bush political moves. |

A politican engaging in political moves. Whatever next?
I dont think 20,000 troops will "swamp" the country as you put it. They are only going to be some use if they hold the line for a while until the Iraqi's can take over.
Mark, What do you propose should be the future of Iraq? Partition, fundamentalist Islamic state, any other suggestions...... _________________ His name was ernie ........ and he drove the fastest milk cart in the west..... |

It's hard to tell at present, as the future of Iraq is not looking good. I think it wont be repaired for at least 5 or 10 years. Bush needs to send in more troops as there isn't enough to police the country. |

They'll need a few more than 20K. That's probably about one soldier every 8.37 square miles by my maths.... _________________ Author: “To the Ends of the Earth: A Snapshot of Aviation in North-Eastern Siberia, Summer 1992”
