I'm not anti Steve Wright but I just don't get this. I can't see what Steve Wright and Tim Smith are falling about laughing at.... it's just ridiculous and extremely irritating. Whoever it is, sounds like Griff Rhys Jones to me.
I don't find Ask Elvis funny either. And years back the same with Mr Angry. Is it me? _________________ Minx

I enjoy Ask Elvis (Mitch Benn) but really despise Barry from Watford - I don't know anyone who likes him, and some people really, really, really hate the guy.
He's not played by Griff Rhys Jones though. It's someone far less talented: Alex Lowe, a jobbing actor who does a lot of Radio 4 sitcoms. |

I think he's "ok" funny but then again, I really liked Mr. Angry and Sid the Manager etc... I remember liking the way Steve rattled the phone before saying "hello"..
However, I didn't like "Ask Elvis". I'm quite an Elvis fan and take offence at those stupid impersonators, Steve's guy included... _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

I'm gonna have to stick my head over the parapet and say I really like Barry from Watford.
Now I'm ducking back down to avoid the flak. |

It all a little harmless humour. Steve does seem to be creeping these people in again like he did at R1 with Mr Angry & Co.
I thought we had lost him at 2.03pm on Friday 12th Feb. There was a pause. Someone forgot to switch the studio on ...... Or was that Pause For Thought for some of you? |
