Aled Jones brought in a crate of beer, and several pints later Bruce spilled some over his desk - and broke the studio!

Assuming the webcam pic is from today (Remember when the webcam pics from the old studios had dates on them?) I'd say they were maintenance men. Ken Bruce's studio went kaput about half hour before his show ended. He had to 'up-sticks' to Jeremy Vine's studio to finish his show.

I didn't realise that, I only manged to catch about an hour of Ken's show today, I'll have to try the listen again button Smile

I thought it was strange as the clock is showing about 11:40 and Ken dosen't finish until 12.

I usually catch up with KB's shows if I'm in and working on the magazine today (which I am) - so I've got some drama to look forward to, then?

I'd agree with that, I thought all along it's a stack of plastic cups.
I didn't want to join a thread about studio doors but now it's knocking Dermot O'Dreary.... Very Happy

I wish the webcam worked all the time - I always get fed up when I click on it and all I get is a shock when Steve Wright's manically grinning mug comes up on the screen.

I've been thinking it's a light. It looks innocuous, but will start flashing when something serious is happening.

It's so when he's talking to the guests and tim, janey etc we wont notice he's only in the studio on his own, picking his nose or eating a apple.

Maybe he was keeping his head down after the comment he made about Mr S Wright?

I think it's an experimental DAB personal receiving device, early days yet of course!

It's said to transmit the signal directly to a normal human brain.
Chris Evans tried it and couldn't hear a thing....
