What could be finer?
Beautiful weather, I'm cooking chicken dinner and Michael Ball's brilliant Sunday brunch show on the radio.
Wonderful to have Radio 2 back after my exile to bland Magic during the awful weekend wogan run.
this Brunch show is perfect for a sunday. it should run all year round. Please, cancel the remaining weekend wogans! |

I do like Ball's show, but I don't want to see Wogan disappear from our radios. I just wish he would return to the more familiar environs of the studio. |

Yep, the new Wogan show isn’t as good as it could be, I think it’s a TV programme on the radio, which is always going to be a compromise. I’d like to see it- to that end I‘ve applied for tickets, so let’s not give him the old heave ho just yet. It takes just a little magic, a tiny tweak here, a tiny tweak there to turn a good programme into a brilliant one, so we should wait and see… well, hear.
Michael ball is pretty good though, so perhaps we could have him at another time. |

Michael has committed himself to stage work and doing part time shows on Radio 2. This is how he wants to work. He's also going to be presenting a new chat show starting for ITV later in 2010. |

Shall miss Michael Ball's Sunday Brunch when it makes way for 'Weekend Wogan' in a couple of weeks. The ITV chat show starts in Sept for 6 weeks. All in all it's been a busy year this year, so part time shows have probably worked in his favour. I really hope there is a way to be able to do a regular slot on radio in the future.. _________________ Put some records on while I pour |

Why can't Wogan just present, some of the year, the same programme that worked well for Parkinson and now works well for Ball ? |

I think Wogan is too wedded to hisa Janet & John stories & silly inuendos these days to do a serious radio show |

This show just keeps on getting better. Ideal for Sunday mornings.
And just to think in a few weeks time i will be exiled to magic again by the awful wogan show. |
