I have always found Janey the right person to cover or even take over Sunday Love Songs, although Steve is the main man to host the show. |

Has anyone requested Cola Boy's '7 Ways To Love' yet? _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!

They've never played Ian Dury & The Blockheads' "Wake up and make love to me" on the show. Should I request it? A suitable alternative would be "Hit me with your rhythm stick" I guess. |

I have to admit that she irritates me Big Time on the Big Show but she was enjoyable company this morning. Tim's the same when he goes solo. Not that I'm saying anything slanderous about SW's influence, you understand. |

Reading out texts and emails is what today's "interactive" radio is all about - of which the "Interactive fun for all the family" Breakfast show is a prime example. An over-dependancy on this format is often because a presenter can't hack it on his/her own. |

But they don't all rely on just that format, and that's what makes the difference between the good ones and the also rans |

Sunday Love Songs is a format where you need the listeners to write in IE: Letters and Emails or the show wouldn't be able to air without those. It's different these days because of the electronic mailing. Where in the olden days of Radio One letters took days to arrive to the station and DJ.
I guess most of the shows are like this as people like to send dedications to there favourite shows. |
