|

Let's get some proper DJ's with musical knowledge, character, experience and someone who can drive the desk and not rely on gimmicks and texts and silly competitions, on to Radio 2 at the weekend.
Ever since we lost Richard Allinson and Stuart Maconie, and since the celebrities have taken over, it's been dire. I suggest that if we can get Radcliffe and/or Maconie, or Allinson again it would be a start, but I'd also like to see Gary Crowley with a Saturday slot.
I've put a comment (with links) on the 'Gripes' board with regard Crowley, whom I rate. He was excellent back in the day and on 6 Music recently, and on his London Radio show.
Let's have some proper DJ's!!
Come on Shennan, let's have Gary Crowley on the books. |

I would like to hear Mark & Stuart at the weekends. Also Richard should be given more than an overnight show at the weekends. |

i have always liked Gary Crowley but can't see it happening regarding R2 as cover on R6 fine but don't think his style would suit R2 _________________ I found out how you can hurt an insect. It's the bees knees |

Did you see his mention in Mojo in regard to Department S's 'Is Vic There'?
He was in an early line-up of the band. _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!

Forgive my ignorance, but would Gary Crowley be too similar to Mark Lamarr and Bob Harris? |
