Well, I can't ask this question on the Radio 2 message boards, cos they ain't there now! Peta doesn't post on here. So where to ask it? I'll try here in case anyone knows the reason. I have noticed that Alex Lester's show is still not available to listen again. Why is this? Was there any controversial material on the show? Does anyone know why we can't hear it? _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

I've no idea LEE. I'd try emailing the show and although it may be a bit late if there's been a glitch they could maybe sort it out. They may not know about it. I did that for a show last year (forgotten which it was now) and I had an email back from the producer saying it would be sorted.
It's worth a try!

Could it be that they don't want anybody to use the I player instead of listening to their golden boy

I’m pretty sure that the iPlayer is female: for a wee while every 4 weeks or so, it gets very tetchy in a, “your dinner will be ready when it’s ready!” kind of way. It’s better not to add to the stress by complaining: biscuits, warm milk and apologise for everything – even breathing, then you may if you’re very lucky, just get something out of it.
I note that the playlists are all messed up too. |

That would explain a lot! Time of the month etc, etc!! Just had another look and it's still not available to listen again. Whatever was so contentious on that day's show? _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack.

It probably got lost on the satellite, it can happen, as a producer explained to me a while ago. Thankfully not often though.
The old fashioned way of using a minidisc and then putting it on the web would have been more reliable
