Actually, it's perfectly fair. If they tweet him they might get a response from wherever he is - but if they text the studio they will not. |

Good point. That's what Tweetdeck is for - tweeting on the move! |

Two weeks running for me listening to DO'L and thoroughly enjoyed the music again. _________________ You will hear gospel and rhythm and blues and jazz, all those are just labels, we know that music is music. |

Yes, despite Dermot's somewhat fumbling presentation the music is always eclectic and we do tend to learn something interesting about the guests during studio chats. I guess it's question of thanking heavens for small mercies, really; it could be a whole lot worse given that Mr. Shennan is in control. |

Dermot's producer Ben does all the hard work, and is a genuinely lovely, very busy bloke. He had at least 2 Sony Award nominations last time round. |

Just to let everyone know. Dermot is away today and 6 Music's Lauren Laverne is sitting in for him.
Is this the first time Lauren has been on Radio 2 since she was one of those presenters who filled in on Russell Brand's slot during his suspension? _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

Just a heads up that 6 music's Steve Lamacq is sitting in for Dermot today. So Tony Blackburn has told us! _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

Another 'heads-up' that Steve Lamacq is doing Dermot O'Leary's show this afternoon. Or so it was announced earlier this morning. _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

Good. Anybody but* the wittering, waffling and sometimes-inaudible O'Dreary! I guess the reason for his absence is that he was doing the NTA live gig this week and needs a weekend rest.
* Well not exactly anybody, but you get my drift. It could be worse - it could be Evans. |

While listening on 'catch-up', Lammo told us that he's on next Saturday as well. _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |
