Well done Schiz - spot on - you look like you could use a nice glass of champagne
A while ago you said you were going to have a think about setting your own link so if you have one please feel free to go ahead so long as you have read the rules first
If not I'll set a new one within the next couple of days _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Thanks for the champers, Ruddles! Actually Angel did all the hard work again.
I'm off out for the next few hours but will definitely be back later with one. |

OK, here we go.
Sergeant Rock Is Going To Help Me--XTC
What Is Soul--Ben E King
A Hard Rain's Gonna Fall--Bryan Ferry
Actually I think this is quite hard so will give a clue. It's a music link. |

I'll have a first guess for a change instead of piggybacking on others. Beatles Albums. Help, Rubber Soul & Hard Day's Night? |

Well done Graham! I thought that was hard but obviously not.
The first one could be Sgt Pepper as well. |

I'll take your word for it Schiz as I am not really a huge Beatles fan even though I was brought up about 12 miles from Liverpool but I have to admit they certainly changed music for the better
Anyway here's the next link
Breakfast at Tiffanys - Deep Blue Something
Magic Roundabouut - Jasper Carrott
Babycakes - Three of a Kind
Over to you for the link please _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

No sorry Angel not anything like that
One of the tracks is tricky because remember you could be looking for a word within a word -I'll say no more
I'll be away today and tomorrow so I'll leave people to have a further think about it and then if it still hasen't been guessed I'll post an extra track which might help you _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

OK I'm back and I did promise to post an extra clue but as I am feeling generous I'll post you three
Black and White - Greyhound
Red Dress - Alvin Stardust
Wake Me Up When September Ends - Green Day
Hopefully these might help you when taken with the first three clues but there again they could confuse the position even more _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Is it something to do with motor racing - Tiff Needell, car, black and white chequered flag? I can't get the Babycakes link though. |

No sorry Angel - not even close
It might help if I tell you that although there are six seperate colours mentioned in the six clues so far only one of these colours has any relevance to the link in this case - the rest are total red herrings
It might also help you if I mention that most of my live links are done at my regular Saturday night pub gigs but now and again I get asked to do them for local music festivals, local fetes and other one off special occasions and this link was put together for one of those events _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Hopefully it's third time lucky |

Well done Angel - I thought you'd get it before too long
When I did it live at a wedding disco I played all six tracks and out of an audience of around 150 guests nobody guessed it until I played 'Kiss the Bride' by Elton John
Over to you to guess the fourth track - there are plenty to choose from so I'll leave it open for a few guesses and then I might have to give a further clue to narrow it down a bit _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Chapel of Love - The Dixie Cups
White Wedding - Billy Idol
American Wedding - Gogol Bordello
I can't think of any more off the top of my head but I'm sure there must be loads. |

By way of a clue I'll tell you that the track I am looking for rather unusually contains two seperate links with weddings within the one track _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

The track you are looking for was a one hit wonder by a female artist in the 1970's _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

I must admit I'm struggling a bit here so I'll just have to try some very general links
Music - Madonna/John Miles
Sweet Soul Music - Arthur Connolly
Sound of Silence - Simon and Garfunkel
Sound of the Crowd - Human League
Stars on 45 - Starsound
Run to the Hills - Iron Maiden
We are Family - Sister Sledge? _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

It's a song from the sixties, sung in a foreign language (it was in the UK chart) that you're looking for. |

Great stuff Angel - I'll relish that even though it's only lunchtime
I have to say I would never have got that last track without your clue - a very good choice
I think I'll try this one
Bad Moon Rising - Creedence Clearwater Revival
Vienna Calling - Falco
Daughter of Darkness - Tom Jones
I don't think this should be too difficult but you never can tell _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Yes Angel well done - I actually made a mistake in that the first track I posted should have been the fourth track
So now I need you to tell me what is the former first track now the fourth track
This is not easy so I may need to give you a clue but we'll see what happens _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

Having given this matter some thouight and having made the original mistake I feel that the track I am looking for is so obscure that I am going to have to give you a clue to point you in the right direction
The track I am looking for reached number eight in the charts in 1987 and was the only British hit for a female American soul singer who was formerly a backing vocalist for Gloria Estefan _________________ Are you ready for a Ruddles? |

I'll have to admit defeat with this one, Ruddles. I've drawn a total blank.
I'm going on holiday for 10 days from tomorrow so hope someone will have cracked it before I get back. |
