England win at last!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Andrew Flintoff was England's top scorer as they beat New Zealand by three wickets in the triangular one-day series in Hobart.
The all-rounder made 72 not out as England reached their victory target of 206 with one ball to spare.
James Anderson was England's best bowler, claiming four for 42 as New Zealand made 205 for nine in their 50 overs.
It is the first time England have won a match during the current tour of Australia.
Their next match is against Australia in Brisbane on Friday _________________ Eternal nothingness is fine if you happen to be dressed for it. |

I stayed up and awake long enough to see to the end of the New Zealand innings, and thought we might do it. The players looked reasonably focussed and, although the fielding still looks rusty (Michael Vaughan made a meal of the skied catch from Ross Taylor) the scattergun standard of the bowling seems to have improved. _________________ Ron |
