This falls on my birthday, so hopefully I may be listening to Steve Hackett's 'Live Rails' CD, hint hint!
Did anyone see Michael Ball on the '100 Gretest Musicals' on More4? _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!

Radio Caroline has featured a few tracks by Steve Hackett over the last couple of weeks.

Definitely not! I hate all those cheap "top lists" shows on C4 and C5. |

Liza is covering for only one day. Same happened last series with only 5- yes 5 shows. Richard Madeley covered, maybe because of tour commitments. |

Start of a new year. Radio 2 seems to continue with the Celebrity trend. |

All the more reason to listen to the sounds emanating from The Lady. |

Micael Ball is a good listen on Sunday mornings.
5 shows is better than nothing and is certainly better than the terrible Wogan offering on Sunday mornings. |

David Jensen provides much better Sunday listening than Radio 2 over on Planet Rock. |

I certainly agree. Radio 2 Sunday mornings has been a no go area. I look forward to sensible radio again for Sunday brunch |

Not only is Michael Ball back, he seems to be hanging around. Does this mean that Wogan has finally hung up his headphones?

Back in April, apparently. But you could hear Tel on Sunday lunchtime - over on Radio 4 where he made a competent debut on Just A Minute. |

That's a shame - if only Tel would ditch Dedicoate and bring back Boggy, I'd be quite happy with his show. Can't stand Ball and his luvvy attitude, so hope it's not a long run? _________________ MiS |

Could not disagree more.
Delighted to learn Michael Ball is returning to Sunday mornings.
Can re-tune to Radio 2 again. Really enjoy listening to Michael on Sunday mornings.
NB-When is Terry Wogan going to realise that his best days are behind him, and that he should do us all a favour and simply "retire". |

I enjoy listening to both Sir Tel and Michael Ball. It would suit me just fine if MB relaced the cackling Elaine Paige so we had Weekend Wogan followed by Michael Ball. |

I think Wogan should do us all a favour and announce that this will be his last year he's doing Children In Need on the Radio. If he's fit enough he can continue with it on the TV, although thats been overshadowed with other people now. He's got plenty charity work to do, and he should stop hanging onto Aunty as there is fresh presenters waiting for him to hang-up his headphones. |
