You don't hear much of her music these days, but this morning on Michael Ball's Sunday brunch he played her version of Rocket Man.
I was surprised it was very good. She put her own interpretation to it, but not as wierd as she can do.
Anyone else hear it? _________________ I like hedgehog crisps |

I've heard it before, but not for quite some time - it's good, but I prefer Kate's own music. |

Although I don't listen to R2 on Sundays at all I do know that the song is from the very fine 1991 album: "Two Rooms: Celebrating The Songs Of Elton John & Bernie Taupin" which is really good.
And yes, the Kate Bush version is pretty good too. |

We heard it. I've always liked it, but my husband had never heard it before. He thought it better than the original. |

Saturday used to be my R2 day then Lesley Douglas set about dismantling it for me, mind you she also dismantled Mon-Fri for me And Bob Shennan seems to be continuing the process. Very sad _________________ Lord Evan Elpuss, Your ideal job is a Lumberjack. |

Because, with the exception of JW (which I listen to later in the week) it's all crap. Planet Rock and Radio Caroline are infinitely better. |

Bravo to Michael Ball for playing Kate's version of Rocket Man!
I've heard her version of Sexual Healing - in my humble opinion they should have made this and King Of The Mountain a 3-track EP with Lyra as an addition, but what do I know! _________________ We are loonies and we are proud!
