24 new free schools which are state funded and mostly set up in deprived areas in listed and church buildings are to open in England. These free schools are set up outside the local authority control and set up mostly by academy trusts or chain groups.

These are good as long as they are controlled well, plus kids are going to get the same high standard of eduction as other schools do.

I think this is the wrong way to go. We should be getting children to mix, not segregate them because of religion. It is the wrong way to go.
