The second series of this starts tomorrow with Anne Robinson at 6.30pm on BBC2. I quite enjoyed the first, last year, where she has 2 guests who come with several books from their 'reading' life and discuss them.
Not one I'll watch live but a nice half hour to dip in and out of whenever time permits or inbetween other programmes.

Thanks for the reminder Helen. We enjoyed the first series and I think I will set the recorder now, just in case I forget that it is on again this week. _________________ Pirate Johnnie Walker played my request on 11 April 2009 |

I'll be watching this evening. I like Alexander Armstrong and love The Great Gatsby which I believe will be one of "his" books. |

I liked the second episode better than Mondays. I didn't know that Chris Hollins was John Hollins son, in fact I had never heard of Chris Hollins! I had not heard of the actress Natascha McElhone either and thought it was very sad that she had lost her husband while she was expecting their third child. The way she told it was so touching and brave, it makes you realise how lucky you are. _________________ Pirate Johnnie Walker played my request on 11 April 2009 |

Eileen, that just shows the difference in people's interests! I watched John Hollins play football and years later saw him in the players tunnel (which was near my seat) at Stamford Bridge when he was the Chelsea manager. A very handsome man in his day! _________________ Pirate Johnnie Walker played my request on 11 April 2009 |

I didn't know who Chris Hollins' father was either! O/H was surprised as well. I also enjoyed that episode more than the first one.

I've seen Chris Hollins on BBC Breakfast on and off for years and even watched the final of Strictly when he won it. |

I thoroughly enjoyed today's episode with Don Warrington and Pam Ayres. They both had a lot of interesting things to say about their respective childhood years, as well as their book choices. |
