Tony Blackburn With The UK’s Best-Selling Albums
Tony Blackburn presents a bank holiday special of the UK's best-selling albums from 1956 to March 2012. The chart was specially commissioned from the Official Charts Company and compiled from sales data of the past 56 years.
There will be some great albums in the new Top 40 list and also some surprises. One female British singer/songwriter has two entries - but it's not Adele or Kate Bush.
And which act has the best-selling album? (It's not The Beatles.) There is one soundtrack album in there - but is it The Sound Of Music?
