His show is very good tonight. Very soothing after the high energy drivetime. He has played some great tracks in the first half hour.

Definitely what I needed after a day on the hills - I've heard the Haley Sisters track before but it was great to hear it again. Nice and relaxing.... Very Happy

My favourite one was Eve Selis. I saw her at Guildfest a few years ago and she 'blew me away' as they say. The album Bob mentioned Nothing But the truth is well worth seeking out.

Another CD already on my Amazon wish-list - has been for some time since I first heard Bob play one of her tracks. Should really buy it next as it's been on the list for several months now.... although it's fighting for the 'next' spot along with the likes of the Drive By Truckers, Jenny Queen, Megson, Mary Gauthier, Carrie Newcomer, Tanya Savory, Angie Palmer, Krista Detor, Hayley Hutchinson, Dar Williams, Linda McLean, Ricky Lee Jones, Lucy Kaplansky, Amanda Marshall and Judie Tzuke, to name but a few! Smile

My favourites on Nothing But the Truth are 'Ballad Of Kate Morgan', which is the one I think I've heard Bob play most often and 'Room At The Top' a cover of a Tom Petty track that was on his album Echo. The whole album is good though. My Drive by Truckers albums have really been taking a bashing on the CD player lately. On their most recent one A Blessing And A Curse I just love 'February 14th', 'Gravity's Gone' & 'Aftermath USA'. Again, that's not to say that the whole album's not good.

It's a pity both of his shows aren't plugged more on R2 - I don't know of many more deserving cases.
