I know that mari hasn't posted here for three years, but some of us will remember her from the early days and back to the BBC boards.
Sad to say, she died yesterday, in hospital in Holland, from cancer of the colon and liver. She was only 66.
She had been unwell for a couple of years but had put a brave face on things and was always cheery in her messages on the Points Aspew board, and also the small, private one where I kept in touch with her.
I will miss her

Yes,that is sad news..
I remember mari from the POV boards ...always sounded a bright,cheerful woman in her posts.

I am so sorry to hear the sad news, I loved her name and from her posts she always sounded a nice person.
