Featuring Kevin Rowland from Dexy's Midnight Runners
Saw this on the Radio 2 website and had a listen without looking first at what he had picked ...
His choices
Virginia Plain – Roxy Music
- Concrete & Clay – Unit 4 + 2
- Heaven Must Have Sent You – The Elgins
- Just Like A Woman – Bob Dylan
- I Say A Little Prayer – Aretha Franklin
- The Things We Said Today – The Beatles
- You Can’t Hurry Love – The Supremes
- Reelin’ In The Years – Steely Dan
- Let’s Stick Together – Bryan Ferry
- Just A Little Misunderstanding – The Contours
Good selection,I thought from Kevin

I agree. I heard most of the programmes this week and I was impressed. Much better that the usual dross chosen my guests. |

Yes, some excellent choices there, certainly better than the mind numbingly banal rubbish in the rest of the KB show.
Today he AGAIN played (or rather the cretin Gary Bones played) Thunder In My Heart by Leo Sayer. I said only a week ago that I would officially complain if it was played again, but what's the point. It will be played again next week...I can complain then. |
