When I worked in a Drawing Office, we would sometimes play a game whereby we would try to resolve a situation from just a given clue..
Not quite the same thing but for the fun of it, I wondered if after a few questions, any of you could decide this situation?
A few weeks back, I was seated alongside an Armed Response Officer hurtling towards Norwich ( A47 ) with the lights and siren going... ( this is true by the way...) _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

You were being driven to your local police station to help with enquires following a reported sighting locally of the infamous international jewel thief, “Santa the Jackal”, who it is rumoured, has come out of retirement and is now going about his business in the rural community of Lowestoft. Santa the Jackal is believed to be in possession of the most precious jewel ever stolen. The Great Golden Goat of Giza went missing fifteen years ago from a Temple Exhibition in the upper reaches of the impregnable (or so it was thought) Zambezi Plateau Museum. After years of investigation and international cross force co-operation the trail has lead to your door. However, on route to the police station, the radio in the police car’s dashboard burst into life with this message, “Sierra Bravo” “ cat stuck up tree”- “all units respond” beep beep beep. At which point the officer escorting you to the station, explained that, he had received a coded message, letting him know that, a pensioner had double-parked whilst unloading his shopping outside a retirement bungalow on the outskirts of Norwich: you were then handcuffed to the inside door handle of the panda car whilst the officer sped towards the reckless parking miscreant. In the confusion that ensued on arrival at the scene of the crime, you were able to slip your restraints and disappear into the daylight, so remain at large? |

Eh, someone claiming to be your missus was threatening to blow up your train photo collection......
or you left something on at work, a heater or some machine that might do some damage unattended - this happened to me years ago, though the officer wasn't armed... _________________ -

I live right next door to my workplace so it would have been a very short trip but spookily, you mentioned my wife who was a few cars behind us... _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07

Aha, you had been arrested for questioning after your car being identified on CCTV....
but transpired your car was stolen and used in an armed robbery......
and, while with the cops, a call was received saying the car was spotted and the cops sped off with you...... _________________ -

excellent, excellent John.... but unfortunately not the case..
I wasn't in any trouble with the Police.. I was enjoying every minute and the officer knew it. "I love driving this car!" he said..
I'm not sure about the three smartly dressed lads in the rear though... _________________ Johnnie Walker read out my message on Pirate Radio! 13/8/07
